Smoking cessation drugs have side effects; some are hard and some are lighter. Doctors certainly inform people about this even when prescribing the drugs.
Smoking cessation drugs work by changing artificially the main chemical of your brain. When you are smoking, nicotine induces a change in brain chemical. It makes you feel glad, happy and a sense of well being. These smoking cessation drugs also evoke the similar situation. So, you can get the same feeling without smoking.
However, your health can get worse related to change in body chemicals caused by side effects of the smoking cessation drugs. You can get the side effects during the prescription treatment period about eight to twelve weeks. After that, the similar side effects can still remain for a very long period.
For many people, it is so hard to stand the side effects of smoking cessation drugs. You may feel it is better to smoke than to try quitting. Facing such these problems, you start to take other addictions like drinking soda, sweet beverages, snacks, and others. You do not realize that these things can cause weight gain. You adopt another unhealthy habit.
Smoking cessation drugs can be dangerous and evoke long-term pain and suffering. Some can eternalize other health disturbance and decrease your health significantly. Kidney illness, heart problems, stomach and liver disturbance can develop. Mental problems caused by smoking cessation drugs also can appear like depression and anxiety.
